* What are you hoping to get ->
Performance dog (agility, obedience, rally)?
Family companion?.
Show prospect? Possible breeding dog?
* Do you have any gender or color preferences? Are you open to considering something other than your first choice?
* Do you own your own home? or do you rent? If you rent, is your landlord ok with you having pets?
* Do you have a fenced in yard to exercise your Cavalier in? If not, what do you plan to do to assure your pup's health & exercise needs?
* Do you have other pets? If so, what are they? (are they a species / breed that will do well with a Cavalier?)
* Have you ever owned a dog before? Can you share some information about this dog and what happened with it?
* Have you ever owned a Cavalier before? Do you have any now?. Where did you get your other Cavalier(s) from?
* Will there be someone at home with this puppy most of the time? Or does everyone work out of the home?
* Do you have a veterinarian you will be taking this puppy to? May I contact them?
* Can you provide me with 2 or 3 friends - people who can vouch for you as a responsible dog owner?
